Over the course of our first home purchase, we ran into some delays caused by our mortgage bankers. We had a 45-day window and not much time to spare. In that final week before signing and closing, I worked with Janell and her team to make sure we didn't miss our date. We came down to the wire as our final documents weren't received until about 11 pm the night before our signing appointment. I was nervous but Janell was still checking her inbox and providing us updates late into night. The team at Ticor in Kent went out of their way to make sure we made it and were able to sign and close on the same day. I was so impressed with their commitment to help us. It's not often you find people willing to go above and beyond like that. I would be delighted to recommend their services to others.

What can you expect from a title company? More than what we got, unfortunately. After everything had finished, we set up an appointment for the key moment of signing our documents and the representative from Ticor didn't show. There was some miscommunication and unread emails, but the ultimate result was that it came down to the absolute wire to try and get these papers signed without getting hit for a massive late fee. Ticor did send someone out at 11PM so we could hit the deadline to file by out date, but it is an issue that never would have happened in the people at Ticor had read their emails ...
