The notary for our appointment showed up 1/2 hour late, leaving me in a place where I had to miss an important meeting. There were no timely updates or indications that the notary was delayed and the call to ask about the delay was responded to after the notary had finally arrived. Not a great experience. I also asked a number of questions during the title process due to some unique factors of the home purchase that we had not run into previously and those handling the questions were not responsive and acted as though I was putting them out by asking... again, not a great experience.

We didn’t use Ticor for the whole process, it was just a house we had made an offer on and then once it was inspected we found too many issues with it. They held onto our earnest money for a week, but kept repeating their policy is to hold it for 10 days. I understand not returning it to us until they had it in their account, but that was not what they said, they just said their policy was to always hold it for 10 days. Pretty frustrating.
