My experience working with Ticor title was it was very seamless. I called a title officer before putting in an offer on my house to check if all was good which was very helpful in markets like these where buyers often have to waive contingencies. Once I was under contract, the team took care of everything and provided me the right information on time so I could deposit the money required with no delays. My signing appointment was very smooth and I was given all the info I needed.

When I had a question or concern, the folks at Ticor title were great at answering it. The biggest reason I'm ranking this 7/10 instead of a 9 or a 10, I think Ticor title is use to folks who this isn't their first time buying a home. There were a lot of things I didn't even know what to use them for (oh they deal with the down payment info, this is how escrow works). Once I knew that Ticor Title was the place to go for a question from talking to my agents, I always had fast responses and more than enough information. I wish I sort of had a walkthrough of "Hi, we're you're title corporation, we will ultimately be responsible for who you give your down payment to and who you schedule the 45 minute signing process with for the title/deeds and here's roughly when they happen in the home buying process." Something the other folks I worked with in the process did a good job of doing was having this little check-list of "you are here with things you work with on us (e.g. pre-approval, conditional approval, final disclosure for lenders)." Ticor was super helpful once I knew where I was and when to turn to them in the process, but having a simple "You are here- Escrow payment, Title signing, downpayment" style of thing would have given me much more context as a first time home buyer.
