They were very abrupt and seemed irritated with any inquiries. They had an archaic system where they photographed and sent a lot of documents via email which you had to print out to sign and re-scan everything and send it to them via email, in lieu of electronic signatures.
Sterling Escrow was efficient. However, they were very expensive on closing cost. I didn't really have a choice since this was seller's title company and affiliated with the seller's agent as well. Why is it so expensive? I know this is California, but seriously? :)
