Made the home buying process easy. Thanks to Candy and the entire team at Tiempo Escrow II!

I didn't choose Tiempo Escrow II (my seller did), but I'm glad they did!!!! I received fantastic service. I'm a first time homebuyer, so I don't have experience, but Candy, my escrow officer was exceptional by any standard of customer service and professionalism. She went above and beyond when it came to making my final closing costs work out in a way that would help me. She was the ultimate "neutral" third party, as escrows should be, and I'm sure worked to help the Seller in ways that she could as well. I won't be making another home buying purchase soon, but if everyone at Tiempo Escrow is like Candy I would certainly use their services again.

We worked with Mari during our escrow period and although she was sometimes hard to reach via phone she was prompt in responding via email, and she was quick to get our docs ready to sign with a very short time frame.

Our escrow process was mostly uneventful -- no big problems, but nothing particularly above-and-beyond. Generally, I'd give a service that consistently "just works" a 9 since they're hard to find, but we did have an issue with our signing appointment. At 4:18pm on a Friday, we were told a notary would contact us with a signing time for the following day. By the time I called to follow up at 7:21pm, no one was in the office to return my call. So, we had to stay home the whole day because we didn't know when the signing appointment was supposed to be. The notary finally called at 1:41pm to set up a time for later that afternoon, but was then late to the appointment. She didn't even call to let us know she would be late, and then when she was even later than she said when we called her to find out where she was, she blamed "traffic" for being 1.5 hours late. Fortunately, 1.5 hours in the whole house-buying process is a pretty small inconvenience, so I didn't deduct more from the rating.

Being a first time home buyer, I hardly had any knowledge of escrow process. My Experience with Tiempo Escrow II was kind of neutral. Things happened on time so no compliants. I think in terms of charges, this was very reasonable. Redfin team helped me go through the process.
