I know how frustrating it can be for all parties involved when they are being told conflicting information. Loan documents were signed September 1, 2017 and returned to lender pending the concurrent closing of the sale of their home. Those funds were received September 7, 2017 from their Escrow Company and we closed in a timely manner on September 7, 2017. Regarding the credit from the Listing agent to her, that was a last minute addition and I was not informed of this change until the day of closing, Sept. 7. I told all parties I could not put it on the Settlement Statement, therefore it would have to be paid to the buyer outside of Escrow. Escrow needed authorization from the Broker to deduct any fees from the commission check to pay out the amount but I never received authorization from the broker to disburse such funds to the buyer. Regarding vacation, this was a 3 day weekend, and I was back to work first thing Thursday morning to close the transaction. I appreciate the opportunity to work with these buyers and wish them all the best in their new home.
