We had to correct a lot of the paperwork prepared by RGS title. There was an oversight that presented itself less than a week before closing and we had to rush to amend an earlier contract. We brought this information up earlier in the process and it was not considered. Ultimately the house sold in the specified time frame but not without unnecessary stress near the closing date.

RGS's effort to execute the transfer of funds to the seller was outside the scope of the 48hr requirement. That was piss-poor follow through on required settlement action, leading do vulnerability of seller to push back a pending close on new property. The seller was not their client, so the level of care for that requirement may not have been a priority. RGS's sloppy handling should have some accountability - find a company that demonstrates better follow through. No effort of remorse was conveyed or consideration would have been made to overlook this review. The court of public opinion can decide, consider giving a different title company your money to do the same work - they all do the same stuff anyway.

RGS Title is a great company to close with. Everyone is very nice there and they made my experience fast and pleasant.
