When we visited to do our seller signing duties, we brought our check book and used account and routing number details for the transfer of proceeds. I even offered a voided check. The Sterling employee never confirmed that what we were providing would accept a wire transfer. Days later, we were told information provided couldn’t be used. I feel this was a gross mistake that could have been avoided. It was clear we used info off a check in front of them and they were informed of the bank as well. Secondary, was not informed the payment of my home loan take up to a week and that sale proceeds were mailed to the mortgage company. This info should be shared with clients, it was not. Overall, nice people but could be much more informative.

Sterling Law was referred to us by Redfin, boy I wished we would have shopped around. Sterling Law copied a lender on ALL of our closing details after we repeatedly told them we were not using this lender. I cannot tell you how upset we still are about this! They also FAILED to include our Redfin refund in the paperwork...which is crazy because they do all of Redfin's closings and this refund is in included with all of Redfin's clients. There communication was terrible. I would not recommend.
