We were very excited about Seattle Swank - they had just done a friends house and it looked great. The bidding process was very easy, and we scheduled a delivery date on the spot and booked them. Days before the install date we were behind, and still needed to accomplish some interior painting. I asked Tara if we could push the move in & she was extremely firm. She told me it was this date or 30 days from now. Things happen, and schedules need to be kept, but I felt this was ridiculous. There was no compromise at all. We ended up working overtime and were 75% ready for them, but this left a stale taste in my mouth. After the installs were done, we realized the furniture that was installed, was destroyed. There were huge scratches across table tops, and stains in white sofas. It just looked like we had the bottom of the barrel product. I spoke to the stager, and he said we were lucky to get what we got, the pickens were slim...So we sucked it up and decided it didn't matter that much. The house sold, fantastic, and it was time remove everything. The removal crew was terrible. They left dirty foot prints on the floor, hand smudges on the newly painted walls, and dents in the drywall. They fessed up to the problems, and paid for the repairs, but not without a little bit of pushing.
All in all, we just weren't impressed. We were expecting the best, and got average. All their houses have the same dirty white sofa's and cow hyde rugs, we were hoping for something tailored to the taste of the generation buying, but didn't get it. We will not recommend them, nor will we use them again.
