From the start of our offer and the contract that was signed by both us and the sellers, we had a closing date of 10/5. The Friday before closing day, the title company lets everyone know we aren't ready. We had no idea why. They were hard to get ahold of. A few times they would go more than a day without replying to emails. They are so slow, that we received a notice from our home owners insurance company that they were about to cancel our policy for lack of payment. Our agent let us know that RMS took 3 weeks to get them the payment for our insurance. Also, 4 weeks post closing we learned they forgot to include our water utility payment in our closing costs so the utility company was about to send us to collections. The reason they got any rating is because the individual who walked us through signing was very nice and super helpful and fun to spend a few hours with. She was the bright spot in all the frustration.
