I am not sure. The final closing costs had approximately $800 of buyer costs that the Title company, I assume, tried to pass on to me. Whoever was responsible, it was deliberate, so I would rate them a minus 10, if it was the title company. Unconscionable and I learned it happens all the time. Selling a home is a bad enough experience and to have experts in the business trying to double charge a buyer and seller should be a criminal offense. Lucky I had an attorney review the ALTA or I would never have known the difference. He immediately ordered them in no uncertain terms to remove the costs which they did without question.
