Pickwood, located between Downtown Auburn and the Auburn University campus, is a residential and walkable Auburn neighborhood with tree-lined streets and classic brick homes. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Toomer’s Corner intersection of College Street and Magnolia Avenue, where sidewalk patios, game-day foot traffic, and local storefronts set the pace. Toomer’s Drugs anchors the scene with its old-school soda fountain, while The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art and the Auburn University Theatre add a cultural throughline. Streetscapes lean toward mid-century ranches and traditional cottages with deep lawns and mature canopy. A short grid of sidewalks links pocket greenspaces to campus edges and downtown blocks. The atmosphere reads calm on weekdays, then shifts with university events and gallery nights.

Love it when the location is GREAT and there is a entertainment involved aka A POOL! Strangely enough, Auburn doesn't have a whole lot of pools! Not sure why! But this cutie does and she sits literally right out your back door, making your outdoor entertainment area absolute perfection, especially at night! Awesome corner lot located right off of Shelton Mill Road. Lots of mature trees. Plenty of parking for your guests. Love the coziness of the Living room with it's brick fire place. The balcony off the Primary Bedroom looking into the back yard is perfect for early morning coffee drinking. The large covered back porch gives you that extra room feel, providing much needed shade all summer long. Plenty of out door storage and the yard could not be more gorgeous.

NC-15
Neighborhood Conservation District
The Neighborhood Conservation (NC) District is intended to preserve the character of existing neighborhoods and developments under construction at the time of adoption of this Ordinance. It is designed to prevent these neighborhoods and subdivisions from becoming nonconforming under the terms of this Ordinance. This District is also intended to provide for future development of land where a NC District is deemed the most appropriate zoning classification, and a preliminary or final plat for development of the land has been approved by the Planning Commission. It is also intended to provide for in-filling of existing neighborhoods on vacant lots with single family detached dwellings as defined in Section 203 of this Ordinance.; Because there are a number of different lot sizes in the Neighborhood Conservation District, the Zoning Map depicts these various areas with the letters NC sub-designated by a number. The number indicates the minimum lot size in thousands of square feet. For example, NC-20 indicates that 20,000 sq ft is the minimum lot size for the District so designated.
