West Side Madison, located between County Line Road and Wall Triana Highway, is a residential and commercial Madison neighborhood with a park-and-trail network and a steady stream of local dining. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the County Line Road corridor near U.S. 72, where storefront plazas, coffee counters, and lunch spots keep the sidewalks active. Housing trends toward newer subdivisions with brick facades, wide driveways, and pocket greenspaces. Dublin Park anchors daily routines with fields, courts, and a community center feel. A short drive connects to the craft-beer scene at Yellowhammer Brewing and the live-event calendar at Toyota Field. Greenway segments and neighborhood ponds add a calm, outdoorsy edge to the street grid.

RC-2
Residential Cluster District Number 2
The purpose of this district is to maintain the rural, environmental, and scenic qualities of the City of Madison, Alabama, by preserving wetlands and other low-lying and significant open lands and hillsides while allowing landowners a reasonable return on their holdings. This district is intended to permit creative development alternatives that have the effect of leaving significant open areas adjacent to and/or within clustered housing developments. Minimum open space set asides are at least 20 percent of the gross plat area. The difference between this district and the RC-1 district is that the RC-2 district allows for higher density and shorter setbacks than the RC-1 district.
