If these walls could speak… what stories would the Heinemann House have to tell? Joe Fiscus, a prominent rancher and savvy real estate investor, originally built this handsome home in 1903 at a location next to the Carnegie Library on Anaheim Blvd. Somewhere around 1921 the house was moved, to the “outskirts” of town, at 703 S. Lemon Street. During this time the house was occupied by a nursery owner, a carpenter and was even “Smiths Barber Shop” in the 1950s-1960s. By 1967 “older” homes in the heart of the city had fallen out of favor as people moved to tract homes being built all over town with new neighborhood schools and roads. Luckily, someone had the foresight in 1970 to place this home on a list of Anaheim’s Historical Resources, the house was marked and when a chance came up to move her, once again, the house was moved for a 3rd time to its current location at 624 S. Lemon Street in 2001. This lovely home was restored, from head to toe, new foundation, electrical, plumbing, floors and windows restored, central heat added. The current owner, or “steward”, is a professional landscape architect, therefore the back yard is just stunning. The house has the “Mills Act” and the current owner pays only $2,835 per year which will be passed onto YOU the new owner and you can SKIP the supplemental tax bill. This house has a “resale restriction” with the city of Anaheim (the city sets the price and the income limits)

This vintage 1903 colonial style home sits on a roomy corner lot and features a large wrap-around porch and white picket fences. The home has been fully restored to its authentic decor, including a large claw-foot tub in the hall bath. 'The Heinemann House' was moved to its current location in the Anaheim Colony Historic District in 2002 by the City of Anaheim. At that time, the home received all new electrical, plumbing, heating, bathrooms, kitchen, detached garage, foundation and roof. It is located walking-distance to the Anaheim Packing House Restoration project which promises great entertainment, eateries, and shopping. Every inch of the 1,652 square feet is full of charm and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a parlor and foyer, living room w/ fireplace, large eat-in kitchen and mud room. As a Mills Act property, the new homeowner will benefit from reduced property taxes.
