Village High Density Residential District
The regulations of this section are intended to implement the Belmont Village Specific Plan and to realize Belmont Village’s potential as the city’s center of civic life with a unique sense of place. More specifically, the purposes of these regulations are 3-fold: To create an attractive, vibrant, mixed use town center for Belmont, offering shopping, restaurants, entertainment, employment, and residential uses in a compact, pedestrian oriented setting; To enhance pedestrian and bicycle connections so that residents, visitors, and workers can safely and conveniently walk, bike, and take transit to, from, and within Belmont Village; and, 2 To support design of building frontages, streetscapes, and public spaces that will create a lively and attractive public realm with a distinctive identity, consistent with the General Plan and the purposes of the Zoning Ordinance.
Belmont buyers are still moving quickly when the right home hits the market. Homes averaged just 12 days on market and sold for 106% of asking price in June. If you're thinking about selling, presentation and pricing still make a big difference.
