Aviara, located between Batiquitos Lagoon and the La Costa area, is a master-planned and resort-leaning Carlsbad neighborhood with golf-course greens and lagoon-edge trails. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Park Hyatt Aviara and Aviara Parkway, where valet arrivals, patio dining, and spa-day calm set the tone. Park Hyatt Aviara, the Arnold Palmer-designed Aviara Golf Club, and the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation anchor local culture and weekend routines. Architecture trends contemporary Mediterranean with manicured streetscapes and view-oriented layouts. Open-space corridors and the lagoon bring coastal air and birdlife into daily walks. Retail and dining cluster just outside the gates at The Forum Carlsbad and nearby La Costa.
