Tucked into its own private valley, this 44-acre Creston ranch in the heart of “undiscovered” SLO county has both a history and potential unparalleled. Owned for the last three decades by Hollywood royalty Debbie Reynolds (“Singin’ in the Rain”) and her son Todd Fisher, brother of Carrie Fisher (“Star Wars”), the family compound was site of hundreds of gatherings, sing-alongs and served as a tranquil retreat for Hollywood’s elite. The 7,800-square-foot main home is gracious in size and scale and features custom tile and woodwork, high ceilings, and attention to every detail, including a private screening room where the family enjoyed watching a 5,000-movie library of Hollywood classics together. The home’s living space is open and ample, featuring upon entry a showcase grand piano used by the great crooners of yore at Reynolds’ Vegas showroom. Two outbuildings combine to create 17,000 square feet of additional storage and include a sound studio, office space and a recording studio. The grounds are home to herds of native deer and the hillsides are dotted with live oaks. A barn, a lake and a natural spring along with accompanying water rights, geothermal heat and solar make this an opportunity for any fan of Hollywood’s elite, or a new owner interested in a self-sustaining property with numerous growing and ranching possibilities. Creston is in the heart of SLO county and is a short distance to downtown Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and the gorgeous and untamed Central Coast beaches. Downtown LA or SF can be reached by car in under three hours. Come explore this legacy estate and turn it into something all your own.

Agricultural Land Use District
The purpose of this Section is to establish a set of regulations applicable to the division of land within the Agriculture land use category. In addition to complying with the standards set forth in this Section and all applicable policies of the general plan, proposed land divisions shall be specifically evaluated for consistency with the policies of the Agriculture and Open Space Element as follows: Agricultural land divisions. Minimum parcel sizes for the proposed division of land designated Agriculture shall be based upon either the existing or potential use of the land for cropland and grazing.; Discretionary approval. The approval of a land division is discretionary and a parcel size larger than the minimum designated in the following Subsections may be required to ensure agricultural capability in accordance with the provisions of the adopted Agriculture and Open Space Element of the general plan.
