Welcome to the crown jewel of the Arroyo Seco...The Abbott Ranch. The Abbott Ranch has the largest, privately held river frontage along the Arroyo Seco River, a pride of ownership claim that provides excellent recreational opportunities and a respite from the hot summer days. This 500 acre property straddled along the Arroyo Seco river with a varied topography that prominently features the meandering riverbed with several swimming holes and private beaches, dramatic limestone cliffs, large open meadows, and mountainous terrain sloping into the Santa Lucia Mountain Range. There are two rustic cabins with gated entrances and excess ground for expansion, plus several premium options for the development of a custom built estate. The usable acreage also provides an opportunity for vineyards and cattle grazing with vegetation consisting of mature oaks and sycamore trees, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the ranch. This is a generational holding and these types of offerings rarely hit the open market.

The purpose of this chapter is to be carried out by allowing only such development that can be achieved without adverse effect and which will be subordinate to the resources of the particular site and area.
