Shaded beneath a canopy of mature oaks in the coveted Trail neighborhood, this masterfully crafted home offers refined interiors, resort-like grounds, and a peaceful setting just minutes from top-rated schools and downtown. Every detail reflects an impeccable level of workmanship seldom found today — from the custom wood ceiling and cabinetry to the designer bathrooms with bespoke tilework. An artistry that truly must be seen to be appreciated. Nowhere is this more evident than the main living space, which stuns with a soaring vaulted ceiling clad in warm wood, three skylights flooding the room with natural light, a sleek linear gas fireplace, custom built-in shelving, and intentional accent lighting. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls dissolve the boundary between inside and out, connecting effortlessly to the surrounding natural setting. Rich custom wood cabinetry, stone countertops, hill views from the kitchen window, and an oversized island anchor a kitchen designed for real cooking and easy gathering. The open dining area flows directly to the backyard through wide glass doors, indoor-outdoor living at its effortless best. The flexible two-level layout offers three bedrooms and three full baths, including a spa-like primary suite with a soaking tub and skylight, and a lower-level suite with private entrance. Outside, the property feels like a world apart. A lagoon-style pool sits amid ferns, flowering shrubs, and fruit trees, creating your own botanical garden retreat. A vegetable garden, multiple outdoor living areas, boat/RV parking, and generous storage round out a yard designed for both beauty and function. Set on an expansive 0.55 acres, this is Lafayette living at its finest.

R-6
Single-Family Residential District-6
The level land in the city of Lafayette has been substantially developed, and it is necessary for the general welfare of the city to preserve hills and open space, to prevent erosion of creek banks and hillsides, and in general to retain the rural nature of the city. In order to accomplish these ends, it is necessary to prevent the creation of additional residential lots which are smaller than 10,000 sq ft in size. Therefore, although this article prescribes regulations for lots as small as 6,000 sq ft in size, many of which now exist, it requires newly subdivided lots in the R-6 district to contain not less than 10,000 sq ft; and it prohibits the placement of additional land into the R-6 district.
