480-400 Belfast Rd, Litchfield, CA 96117

The Belfast Mountain Retreat is a rare 925+ acre luxury offering composed of seven expansive Mountain Retreat–zoned parcels, each providing exceptional flexibility for high-end development. One premier parcel is reserved for a future 18-hole championship golf course, thoughtfully positioned to capture sweeping mountain and valley vistas. Another parcel is designated for a private landing strip, with ample space for a grand lodge and custom hangarsideal for private aviation, corporate retreats, or exclusive guest access. The remaining parcels allow refined lodges, estate homes, boutique resort facilities, equestrian complexes, event venues, and recreational amenities, all supported by Lassen County’s versatile Mountain Retreat zoning, which encourages low-density residential, hospitality, and commercial recreation uses. Surrounded by vast stretches of BLM land, the retreat enjoys unmatched privacy, protected view corridors, and direct access to thousands of acres of wilderness. This adjacency ensures long-term tranquility, prevents future encroachment, and expands opportunities for hiking, ATV exploration, hunting, mountain biking, and backcountry adventure right from the property line. The landscape is framed by the Diamond Mountains, Skedaddle Mountains, and distant volcanic silhouettes, creating a dramatic backdrop for luxury living. Nearby destinations such as Eagle Lake, Lake Almanor, and Lassen National Forest offer four-season recreation including boating, trophy fishing, snow sports, wildlife viewing, and endless forest roads for exploration. With its aviation potential, golf course parcel, flexible zoning, and extraordinary natural surroundings, the Belfast Mountain Retreat stands as one of Lassen County’s most compelling opportunities for a world-class mountain estate, private resort, or multi-generational legacy sanctuary.
