First time ever offered for sale! This exceptional 24-acre property has been held by the same family for approximately 100 years and presents a rare opportunity to own a beautiful piece of Murphys history. Ideally located on French Gulch Road between Falcon Mine Road and Darby Lane, the property is just a couple of minutes from the shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and elegance of downtown Murphys. The combination of privacy, usability, favorable topography, and close proximity to town is increasingly difficult to find in today's market. Zoned U (Unclassified), buyers are encouraged to investigate potential uses with Calaveras County. The AP zone may also be utilized for open space protection and preservation under the Williamson Act. All the permitted and conditional uses allowed in the AP zone, when developed and operated in conformance with this title and county rules administering agricultural preserves and Williamson Act Contracts, are determined by the board of supervisors to be compatible with the definition of agricultural, recreational or open space use of the land and thus a use authorized in the AP zone and for lands under a Williamson Act Contract.
