SOLD BEFORE PROCESS One of the Mountain's contractors came across this cabin when it was a tired fixer. Tom has worked on it over the years to restore and preserve the rustic charm and add modern conveniences - all with his quality craftsmanship. The cabin had it's beginnings in 1952. SEE SUPP [Supplement]: It was well built with cement block walls and a slab floor on one of the most level, usable 1/3 acres on the Mountain. Walking into the cabin you are welcomed with an inviting fireplace and corner window seats to sit and cozy up when the snow falls. The high, open beamed ceiling is original, beautiful knotty pine. Tom took advantage of the area above the kitchen and added a stand up loft used for a good sized sleeping room with a sitting area of 18 x 14 plus storage space. This puts the square footage at approximately 1000 including the loft with 690 esf on the walk in level. Tom also worked his magic in the kitchen and built new cabinets, granite counter top, a center island chopping block, added a new sink, a microwave, and a brand new oven and range on order will be installed shortly. Your toes will always be toasty since the wonderful wood stove that heats the cabin is part of a knotty pine sleeping alcove off the kitchen. This is in addition to the efficient fireplace and propane heat. Being a contractor, Tom had to have a workshop so you'll find an additional 350 esf with a laundry center and great storage. It shares the covered entry with the cabin so is real convenient. Part of this room could be easily converted to a great master bedroom with a nice forest view approximately 18 x 9, guest quarters, or a teen, or craft room. The cabin has year round access with a 'truck port' - all you guys can relate, I'm sure. The carport had to be high enough for his truck with a rack to drive in. There are two fun sheds, great extra parking for an RV, and also room for a garage.

RR
Rural Residential District
The RR Use Regulations are intended to create and enhance residential areas where agricultural use compatible with a dominant, permanent residential use is desired. Typically, the RR Use Regulations would be applied to rural or semi-rural areas where urban levels of service are not available and where large lots are desired. Various applications of the RR Use Regulations with appropriate development designators can create buffers between residential and agricultural uses, family or small farm areas, or large lot rural residential developments.
