About this home
Tucked into the rolling westside hills of Paso Robles, this private 10.6± acre property offers a rare opportunity to enjoy the Central Coast lifestyle today while creating something even more special for the future. Surrounded by larger acreage properties and renowned wineries, the setting feels peaceful and secluded while remaining within easy reach of Paso Robles wine country. The existing 3-bedroom home provides a comfortable place to settle in and enjoy the property immediately, while the acreage offers the exciting opportunity to build a new primary residence of virtually any size, subject to County requirements. Live in the existing home while designing and building your dream estate, then repurpose it for guests, extended family, or potential rental income. A substantial 25' x 45' metal barn adds even more versatility and features a full bathroom, kitchen, and additional finished space, creating possibilities for a workshop, studio, home office, agricultural use, or other lifestyle needs. An additional 18' x 45' pole barn with a concrete slab provides valuable space for equipment, storage, or projects. Outside, sweeping views of the surrounding hills and countryside set the stage for relaxed wine-country living. With a private well, solar, natural gas, usable acreage, and multiple existing structures, much of the infrastructure is already in place. Whether you envision a private estate, multigenerational compound, hobby farm, or simply room to spread out beneath the Paso Robles sky, this is a property that invites you to think beyond what is here today and imagine what could be next.
Adelaida, located between Templeton and Paso Robles, is a rural and wine-country Templeton neighborhood with rolling vineyard hills and oak-studded ranchland. The landscape reads as long driveways, gated lanes, and hilltop homes set among tasting rooms and working farms. The neighborhood’s character concentrates along Adelaida Road near the cluster of winery entrances and roadside pullouts, where weekend traffic mixes with cyclists and vineyard crews. Community pillars include Tablas Creek Vineyard, Halter Ranch Vineyard, and DAOU Vineyards, each anchoring the area’s tasting culture and event calendar. Architecture leans toward modern farmhouses and Mediterranean-influenced estates, often oriented to views and outdoor living. Evenings turn quiet fast, with dark skies and the scent of chaparral carrying across the ridgelines.

NORTH COUNTY PLANNING AREA
Agricultural Land Use District
The purpose of this Section is to establish a set of regulations applicable to the division of land within the Agriculture land use category. In addition to complying with the standards set forth in this Section and all applicable policies of the general plan, proposed land divisions shall be specifically evaluated for consistency with the policies of the Agriculture and Open Space Element as follows: Agricultural land divisions. Where a division of agricultural lands is proposed, a cluster division where homes are clustered in a compact manner which reduces the agricultural/residential interface, is an alternative to a conventional lot split land division.; Where a division is proposed, the proposed parcels should be of adequate size and design to ensure the long term protection of agricultural resources.; Minimum parcel size criteria for the division of Agricultural lands. Minimum parcel sizes for the proposed division of land designated Agriculture shall be based upon either the existing or potential use of the land for cropland and grazing.; Discretionary approval. The approval of a land division is discretionary and a parcel size larger than the minimum designated in the following Subsections may be required to ensure agricultural capability in accordance with the provisions of the adopted Agriculture and Open Space Element of the general plan.
