Located in the rolling foothills of the Sierra Nevada in the small community of Rescue, this 19.84-acre property features wide-ranging views, overlooks year-round Weber Creek, and provides the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind home. Weber Creek, a waterway with roots in the Gold Rush era, runs just below the parcel and has long been a natural draw to this scenic area of El Dorado County. Beautiful rock outcroppings and several potential building sites allow you to design a home that takes full advantage of the setting. The seller has cleared a large portion of the property and brought in gravel to create a drivable road, with additional clearing underway. Surrounded by attractive existing homes and local wineries, and conveniently located near Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and Highway 50, this parcel combines privacy with accessibility. Power is located at the street, and there is currently no well or septic, providing flexibility to plan and build according to your needs. With open space and multiple possibilities, there is plenty of room to bring your vision to life. Bring your contractor and plans to begin building the foothill retreat you've been imagining. RL-10
Rural Lands Zone
The RL, Rural Lands Zone, is intended to identify those lands that are suitable for limited residential development based on topography, access, groundwater or septic capability, and other infrastructural requirements. This zone may be applied where resource-based industries in the vicinity may impact residential uses. Commercial support activities that are compatible with the available infrastructure may be allowed within this zone to serve the surrounding rural and agricultural communities. Although agricultural uses are allowed, these lands generally do not support exclusive agricultural use. This zone is applied to those lands to allow uses which supplement the agricultural use. For special setback purposes, the RL zone is not considered to be an agricultural or timber zone. Minimum lot size designators shall be applied to this zone based on the constraints of the site, surrounding uses, and other appropriate factors.
