This 40 acre piece of property was converted from farm ground and became the site location of the former IV Cheese Factory. The building is still on the property. The building contains 28,000 SF of space, and could be used for any variety of commercial development projects. Most of the guts of the former cheese plant have been sold off from an auction back in May of 2014. The plant could still be resurrected and used for cheese production as well. Another idea for the property would be to demolish the building and return the property to agricultural production. There is quite a bit of tile on the subject property. The soils are good quality and there is still a water delivery gate from the Forgetmenot Canal in which to access irrigation water back to the property. I have tile maps, soil boring maps and soils maps available if one would want to check those items in consideration for returning the ground back to Ag production.
