This Mountain Masterpiece of timeless design was built for the ages on one of the most unique one acre lots in Snowmass. Conveniently located at the bottom of the Ridge Run neighborhood the Base Village and Assay Hill are a quick schuss or stroll from home. The post and beam design incorporating ruff hewn white oak and spruce timber from 100 year old New England barns and tumbled limestone floors create an old world warmth blended with the 21st century comforts of a luxury ski home. The soaring cathedral ceilings and windows were designed to bring the majestic view of Mt Daly into the great room. The elegant main floor master suite allows for one floor living while guests can enjoy the four ensuite guest bedrooms, family room, hot tub & deck. The private and gently sloping one acre lot feels like a private park landscaped with perennial gardens leading to a small pond and waterfall creating a Monet worthy outdoor setting for spring, summer and fall enjoyment. The winter season calls for sitting by the roaring wood burning fireplace watching the sun set over the snow covered mountain peaks and Snowmass ski runs. This mountain home has it all and is meant to be enjoyed in all four seasons. SPA-1
Specially Planned Area 1 District
There are areas within the Town where development existed prior to incorporation of the Town and the establishment of municipal zoning. It is the purpose of the Specially Planned Area SPA-1 zone districts to establish standards that are applicable to existing development within said areas. Governmental Specially Planned Areas were established for the Fire Department and the Water and Sanitation District. Except as may be permitted pursuant to Section 16A-5-250(a)(10), Interim SPA (SPA-1) Authorization, this is done by requiring the approval of a plan that establishes approved densities, uses, required parking and other development limitations for all or any portion of a property so designated. This plan shall be submitted and reviewed pursuant to the procedures and standards of Article V, Division 3, Planned Unit Development, and shall constitute the zoning and development regulations for said area or building.
