BIG and bold end-of-row home made it's debut on Capitol Hill in 1874 just a 3-block stroll from the Capitol grounds! 150-years-young and lovingly tended by the same family for 40 years. Federal flat-front with tuck-pointed facade and restored shutters welcomes you home to front parlor and central formal dining, each boasting wood-burning fireplace, ornate mantels, and hardwood floors. Adjacent to dining room and kitchen lies a rare advantage: Sky-lit garden room as the gateway to your private brick patio! LARGE front bedrooms can be found on BOTH upper floors 2 + 3 with custom built-in casework. Two more rear bedrooms plus two full baths and a luxurious dressing room complete the upper levels. Down below and behind the patio, plenty of storage. DON'T miss this unique opportunity to stake your historic claim just steps to SCOTUS and Stanton Park.
