Traditional Neighborhood Design Zone
The intent of the Traditional Neighborhood Design TND zone is to create a walkable and pedestrian-friendly, economically viable professional, commercial and mixed use residential neighborhood for people of different ages and incomes that draw from the best architectural and community design features of Delaware and the Delmarva Peninsula from its colonial past to the mid 20th century. Its intent is also to preserve and enhance the natural landscape, celebrate the history of the site, and buffer the development from adverse external influences.
