Welcome to this classic farmhouse cape cod. Situated in a non-development 1 acre setting close to conveniences but also space to have your own privacy. Upon entering this center hall cape cod one will notice the hardwood floors and custom moldings that add character to the home. The hardwood floors continue throughout the first and 2nd floors except in the kitchen and baths. There is a large great room with brick wood burning fireplace as its focal point. Lots of windows allow for natural light and views of the property. From the great room there is a door to the screened in porch for late afternoon gatherings in the summertime. The first floor also has a den, bedroom, full bath and kitchen. On the 2nd floor there are two large bedrooms and a full bath. The property has lots of mature landscaping and a two car detached garage. Central Air has been added over the years for comfort. The basement has extra high ceilings and a bilco door for outside access. A unique home with lots of charm. Added bonus of being across the street from the wonderful Somerset Farm Ice Cream stand and the public natural areas of Lums Pond State Park and the Delaware and Chesapeake Canal Wildlige area.
