Nautica Sound, located between I-95 and the Intracoastal Waterway, is a residential and waterfront-adjacent Boynton Beach neighborhood with canal-lined streets and a low-rise townhome feel. The neighborhood’s energy concentrates around the Gateway Blvd and Federal Hwy corridor, where marinas, casual seafood spots, and everyday errands cluster in a breezy, coastal strip. Homes lean contemporary Florida—stucco exteriors, small patios, and tidy community drives that keep the scale intimate. Water views and boat traffic shape the daily backdrop, with short hops to docks and shoreline parks. Nearby arts and dining anchors like the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center, Two Georges Waterfront Grille, and the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum add local character beyond the gates.

PUD
Planned Unit Development District
The purpose of the PUD zoning district is to implement any of the residential future land use map FLUM classifications of the Comprehensive Plan. The intent of this planned district is to promote efficient land use, improved amenities, appropriate and harmonious physical development, creative design, improved living environment, orderly development in the city, and the protection of adjacent city development. The district is suitable for development, redevelopment and conservation of land, water and other resources of the city. Regulations for planned unit developments are intended to accomplish the purposes of zoning, subdivision regulations and other applicable city regulations to the same degree that they are intended to control development on a lot-by-lot basis. In view of the substantial public advantages of planned unit development, it is the intent of PUD regulations to promote and encourage development in this form where tracts suitable in size, location, and character for the uses and structures proposed are to be planned and developed as unified and coordinated units. Densities of such developments shall correspond with the respective FLUM classification.
