About Keys
Gate
Keys Gate, located between Florida’s Turnpike and US-1, is a gated and master-planned Homestead neighborhood with palm-lined streets and a golf-course backdrop. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Keys Gate main entrance on NE 8th St, where guardhouse lanes, manicured medians, and clubhouse signage set a polished, residential tone. Fairway views and low-slung, Mediterranean-influenced homes define the streetscape, with lakes and canals threading through the blocks. The Keys Gate Golf Course and clubhouse grounds act as a visual anchor for daily routines. For a local night out, the Seminole Theatre in downtown Homestead adds a classic marquee and live-performance energy. Nearby, the Homestead Bayfront Park shoreline frames the area’s outdoor rhythm.
Andalucia is a collection offering brand-new townhomes for sale at the Altamira master-planned community in Homestead, FL. Residents enjoy access to a range of exclusive amenities, including an expansive clubhouse with a fitness center, restaurant and bar, golf pro shop, ball room, gathering space and business center. A swimming pool, golf course and parks are also included. The local area is host to endless attractions, the Homestead Speedway, Keys Gate Tennis Club, dining, shopping and entertainment.

PUD
Planned Unit Developments District
The planned unit development PUD zoning district is intended to provide a method by which proposals for unique development projects, which are not provided for or allowed in the zoning districts otherwise established by this chapter, may be evaluated. The purpose of a planned unit development is to encourage the development of well-planned mixed-use communities.; The standards and procedures for the planned unit development are intended to promote flexibility of design and planned diversification and integration of uses and structures, while at the same time retaining in the city council discretion to establish such limitations and regulations for each PUD as it deems appropriate to protect and promote the public health, safety and general welfare. In exchange for zoning flexibility, planned unit developments shall provide tangible community benefits. In so doing, the PUD district is intended to accomplish all of the following objectives: Allow a diversity of uses, housing types, open space, and buffers in a manner compatible with existing and planned uses on adjacent and other affected properties.; Allow for innovative design that promotes more efficient and environmentally sensitive use of the land than generally achievable through conventional zoning and development regulations.; Protect the environment by affording opportunities for the preservation of environmentally sensitive and important natural or historic areas.; Provide meaningfully integrated common open space and developed recreation areas.; Promote creativity in development layout, design, and construction.; Encourage development to occur concurrently with or following the coordinated and planned extension of all existing and programmed community facilities and infrastructure.; Incorporate good urban design principles within the PUD in order to create a sense of neighborhood and community.; Encourage economic development, workforce sustainability and job creation throughout the community.
