The sun is setting soon. It's been an amazing day of riding. Started out in the arena running barrel and reining drills and ended in a relaxing trot by creek in the ''back 40'' of your 5 acres. ''KC'', ''Allie'' and ''Henry'' have worked hard and deserve to be pampered. You hit the fans and let them cool down in style in the immaculate stalls. Now its your turn...Fire up the Thermador Gas Range and sear off that Tomahawk Ribeye. Cast-iron cornbread in one oven, and roasted carrots from the garden in the second oven. Kick off your boots and fill up the whirlpool tub like Beth Dutton would fill up a horse trough. Climb in and let the stress melt off. Now grab a robe and a glass of Blantons and rock-a-way on the mile long porch as the sun finally gives in and goes to sleep.So spacious and... secluded, the sky is so clear it feels like you can see every star. Sleep well because tomorrow family is coming for Sunday supper. Stories being told, kids laughing, Yellowstone on the TV, guitars strumming....All these amazing sounds filling up the spacious family room. No boot scootin' though! Not on these gorgeous floors!
