Timeless curb appeal meets modern sophistication at 5491 Fort Caroline Rd. Set beneath mature oak trees draped in Spanish moss, this beautifully refreshed 3-bedroom, 2-bath residence offers an inviting combination of character and contemporary style. The interior features vaulted ceilings, improved flooring, updated lighting, and refined finishes throughout. The primary suite is a private retreat with direct outdoor access and a beautifully appointed ensuite featuring dual vanities, elegant gold fixtures, and a spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower. An updated secondary bath, two additional bedrooms, and an oversized 2-car garage complete the package. A distinctive home with the updates and space today's buyers are looking for.
University Park, located between San Jose Boulevard and the St. Johns River, is a residential and campus-adjacent Jacksonville neighborhood with mid-century streetscapes and a leafy, low-rise feel. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the University Boulevard West and San Jose Boulevard corridor, where coffee counters, casual eateries, and everyday services keep the sidewalks active. Ranch homes and brick cottages sit under mature oaks, with curving streets that soften the edges of busier arterials. The University of North Florida presence shapes the rhythm with bike lanes, study spots, and weekend events. Nearby riverfront parks and creeks add a calm, outdoorsy counterpoint to the commercial strips. Community touchstones include the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Sun-Ray Cinema, and the Riverside Arts Market.
