Jacksonville North Estates, located between Dunn Avenue and Lem Turner Road, is a residential and suburban Jacksonville neighborhood with a low-slung streetscape and a wooded, creek-threaded backdrop. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Dunn Ave and Lem Turner Rd corridor, where auto shops, local takeout counters, and small storefronts set a practical, everyday rhythm. Housing leans toward mid-century ranches and later single-story builds on generous lots, with mature trees softening the blocks. Nearby greenspace and waterways shape a quieter, outdoors-forward feel. The drive to the St. Johns River corridor and the Jacksonville Zoo area frames weekend routines with nature and local landmarks.
