Truman Annex, located between Mallory Square and Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park, is a waterfront and historic Key West neighborhood with a gated residential layout and marina-front promenades. The character concentrates along Southard Street by the Truman Waterfront Park entrance, where joggers, dog-walkers, and sunset-watchers stream past palms and harbor views. Restored Conch-style cottages and newer coastal townhomes sit behind tidy lanes and pocket greens. The Key West Amphitheater anchors the calendar with open-air concerts and community events. Waterfront paths trace the edge of the harbor toward the cruise piers and the old Navy Yard footprint. Evenings lean quiet, with the sea breeze and the glow from Mallory Square nearby.
