Old Fourth Ward, located between Downtown Atlanta and Virginia-Highland, is a historic and industrial Atlanta neighborhood with a BeltLine spine and a park-centered social scene. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around Ponce de Leon Ave NE at North Highland Ave NE, where patios, indie boutiques, and late-night bites cluster under restored brick facades. Ponce City Market and the Historic Fourth Ward Park serve as daily landmarks for food halls, green space, and skyline views. The Clermont Lounge adds a storied, neon-lit chapter to the nightlife circuit. Converted warehouses and new mid-rises line the Eastside Trail, while side streets hold tight grids of early-20th-century bungalows. The result reads urban and walk-forward, with coffee stops and trail traffic setting the pace.
