Pinetucky, located between Augusta Regional Airport and Fort Eisenhower, is a wooded and rural-edge Augusta-Richmond County consolidated government (balance) neighborhood with pine-canopy roads and wide-lot homesteads. The neighborhood’s character concentrates along Tobacco Road near the Fort Eisenhower gates, where roadside diners, bait-and-tackle counters, and small auto shops set a practical, outdoorsy rhythm. Community pillars include the Augusta Museum of History, the Imperial Theatre, and Le Chat Noir. Housing reads as ranch homes, manufactured homes, and newer builds tucked behind long driveways and tree lines. Daily life centers on drives to South Augusta errands, trail time, and weekends oriented toward the river and lakes. The landscape stays dominant, with sandy soil, tall pines, and a quiet, backroad feel.
