Driving down the flag lot you're met by two large trees like beefeater guards welcoming you to this peaceful, private setting. The custom 3 bedroom 2 bath Lindal cedar pole home designed by Saarinen at owner's request, is surrounded by a covered deck accessed via sliders from every room, the perfect spot for morning coffee and tranquil ocean and valley views. The cook's kitchen opens to the living and dining rooms and boasts a beautiful mango bar counter top, Viking gas range and plenty of storage. Soaring ceilings, skylights with exposed wood create a bright and tranquil living space complete with a wood burning stove for chilly winter evenings. New security system was installed in January. The home is well placed to hear the soothing sounds of the seasonal stream below with pools large enough for a dip. The 2.60 acre lot has a manicured yard bordering the gulch for privacy; a separate structure houses the hot tub. A craft person's dream workspace is located in the oversized 2 car garage with quarter bath and outdoor shower. The property has its "challenges" but you'll appreciate its solid bones. With a little TLC it can be restored to its Haiku splendor.
