Perfectly Situated between the Mountain and the Sea, this 3.67 acres is unlike any other! Wind through the peaceful tropical greenery, over a perennial stream, up a hill to the home site. An old, abandoned 947 sq.ft. home, permitted in 1981 on County records, is currently not habitable. It could be torn down or with extensive renovation and addition, transformed into the Main Home or Ohana of your dreams. Some clearing of trees needed to open up the wonderful Ocean View from the current home site. Expansive grounds surrounded by jungle privacy make this the perfect place to enjoy Maui Off-Grid Living. There is ample rainfall for water catchment and sunshine for PV power, no County Water or MECO electric in the area. The unique shape of the lot along with the topography of the neighboring land gives the feeling of a much larger property and there is great potential for an exclusively unique estate. Features include access to Fiber Optic Internet and a partly dismantled Greenhouse structure with an amazing array of trees & flowers. A large network of restored Taro Lo'i (many terraced ponds) made from hand laid local stone adds a sense of history and serenity to the place and connection to the land. This lot has not been divided by CPR, but could be a possibility. Walking distance to Honokala Bay Ocean access and Hoolawa Bay is just down the road. Numerous waterfall pools also in the area for you to enjoy the best of Maui's North Shore. Showings by Appointment to qualified buyers Only.
