Own a piece of Maui history! This home was the original home of one of the early plantation doctors. Built in the 1870’s and updated and restored over the years, this 5 bedroom 5 bath home situated a short walk from Haiku Town is historic, unique and beautiful. You enter the home through the classic covered lanai, a great place to enjoy the trade winds. There is original fir flooring, a claw foot tub in one of the en suites, a giant lanai and floor to ceiling windows in the living room. The spacious kitchen is well suited to prepare a feast for friends and family. Every place you turn in the home you will see little custom touches that you just would not find in new construction. The Old Hawaii feel of the property is just as evident outside the home as it is inside. The 1.2 acre parcel includes lots of tropical fruits, a majestic mango tree, soaring royal palms, a small fish pond, a barbecue gazebo and 2 detached storage areas. This property is a very active Bed and Breakfast, please plan your showings accordingly. Call your favorite Realtor for a tour.
