About
Nahiku
Nahiku, located between Ke‘anae and Hāna, is a rural and coastal Hāna neighborhood with rainforest gulches and oceanfront lava shelves. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Nahiku Marketplace on Hana Highway, where a small cluster of roadside stands, food counters, and craft tables meets the steady flow of Road to Hāna traffic. Low-slung homes and farm lots sit under dense canopy, with narrow driveways and frequent stream crossings shaping daily rhythms. The coastline reads as raw and wind-swept, with tidepools and sea cliffs replacing sandy strands. Days track weather, waterfalls, and garden work more than schedules.
