Just 2 miles from Carlyle Lake and great hunting grounds, enjoy the freedom of country living in this beautiful home! Complete with 7.8 acres (split in progress), 4 bedrooms, and 1 and 1/4 bath with laundry. Hardwood floors throughout, except kitchen and bath has vinyl and master bedroom has carpet. The third bedroom off the master would make a great nursery, office, personal space, laundry, or huge walk in closet. The open land is great for ATVs, golf carts, side by sides, and good old bon fires. All water lines and septic lines were replaced in 2012 when bathroom was remodeled. The bathroom has swanstone vanity and tub/shower surround with two shelf inserts. The roof, furnace, air conditioner, siding and double hung energy widows were installed in 2011. New 80 gal water heater installed Dec. 2012. Kitchen has swanstone counter tops and black quartz sink. Master bed and half unfinished bath/laundry completed 2011. 1 of 3 homes on dead end street, fantastic, private country living!
*Taxable value of land and structures on it ("additions") is determined regularly by local assessors and does not affect market price.

A
Agricultural District
The carrying out of agricultural activities has long been, and continues to be, an important part of the way of life for Clinton County residents, and such activities provide a large portion of the income derived by the County’s population. Thus, to promote and protect this mainstay of the local economy, it has been established as official policy that the County should protect, preserve, and encourage the pursuit of agriculture by its residents. The creation of the A Agricultural District is an integral part of that policy. The A District encompasses sparsely developed areas which, because of the fertility of the soil, topography, the availability of water, and other factors, including the suitability of the land for the raising of animals, have high agricultural productivity. The regulations for this district are intended to preserve such agricultural land by severely restricting the encroachment of non-agricultural uses and structures. The owners and renters of property, whether farm or non-farm, in this district should realize that they will likely encounter the smells, sights, and sounds attendant to agricultural operations. This Zoning Code encourages the conduct of lawful activity including the conduct of agriculture operations consistent with the principles established by this Zoning Code and other applicable ordinances of the County of Clinton and the laws of the State of Illinois
