The heart of the home is the incredible kitchen/family room combo designed for effortless everyday living and entertaining. Expansive family room with FP flanked by two sets of French doors opening directly to the backyard and flows seamlessly into the newly redone white and gray Chef's kitchen. Separate breakfast area is ideal for casual dining, morning coffee or homework. Strong second-floor layout with 5 bedroom suites including the oversized primary retreat with its own private deck, separate sitting area, walk-in closets and a newly renovated white spa bath with dual vanity and steam shower. The treetop third floor adds another flexible living space perfect for a playroom, hangout or private home office. Fully finished LL is flooded with natural light and features a large recreation room, media room, bedroom, full bath, fully equipped exercise room and two staircases for easy access. Leave the car at home and enjoy everything that makes East Winnetka living so special, all just outside your front door.
North Shore, located between Evanston and Lake Forest, is a residential and lakeside Chicago neighborhood with leafy ravines and a shoreline park system. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Metra stations and village centers along Green Bay Road, where independent cafes, bookstores, and small galleries line walkable blocks. Writers Theatre and the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts anchor the cultural calendar, while the Chicago Botanic Garden sets a seasonal rhythm just beyond the lakefront. Streets of brick Colonials, Tudors, and mid-century homes sit behind mature trees and stone walls. Lake Michigan beaches and the Green Bay Trail shape daily routines with long, linear outdoor corridors. Commuter rail and lakefront drives connect the area to downtown without changing its quiet, curated pace.

Single-Family Residential District
The requirements set forth in this chapter, together with other provisions set forth in the Building Code of the Village, have been adopted in order to provide for a single-family residential environment of relatively intense suburban character, where the degree of improvements upon an individual parcel of land is in approximate balance with the landscape area of such parcel of land. Due to the mature character of development within this district, such requirements are also intended to assure that future modifications to existing structures, or the replacement of existing structures with new structures, will not alter the scale and general character of established neighborhoods. In this regard, the requirements set forth in this chapter are further intended to foster development which is compatible, in general, with the character of existing single-family development within the immediate neighborhood with respect to external architectural scale, landscaping and other site improvements.
