This updated and well-maintained log home is nestled on a 15-acre property, perfect for the horse enthusiast or aspiring homesteader. This home has been updated from top to bottom. The logs that make up the exterior were harvested from the property and have been sealed for longevity. The stone used to face the two-story fireplace is from the property and warms the main living space. The kitchen has quartz countertops, stone backsplash, hickory cabinets, and stainless appliances. The nearby mud/laundry room has ample storage and a separate entrance. This home is light filled and the owners have made updates that bring a brighter feel to the space both inside and out, including solid-surface flooring throughout. The addition of a huge screened-in porch (2017), with fan, cedar beams, & composite decking provides the perfect spot to overlook the pool and woods. The bsmt has ample storage, and an updated guest bed and half bath. The guest room and rec room walk out to a covered patio. There is a 272 sq ft finished loft over the garage, currently used as an office. The property has a 30 x 40 horse barn with 5-6 stalls, a hay loft, and a separate water and electric meter. The pasture is mostly fenced with a small pond, and the forest has trails and a small cave. A new roof, siding, gutters, and water heater were added in 2017, and new high-efficiency heat pump in 2010. High speed internet available. Very close to I-69, and only 15 minutes from IU!

AG/RR
Agriculture/Rural Reserve District
The character of the Agriculture/Rural Reserve (AG/RR) District is defined as that which is primarily intended for agriculture uses including, but not limited to, row crop or livestock production, forages, pasture, forestry, single family residential uses associated with agriculture uses and limited, very low density, rural non-farm related single family uses and not in (major) subdivisions. Its purposes are to encourage the continuation of agriculture uses, along with the associated single family residential uses, to discourage the development of residential subdivisions and non-farm-related nonresidential uses, to protect the environmentally sensitive areas, such as floodplain and steep slopes, and to maintain the character of the surrounding neighborhood. Therefore, the number of uses permitted in the AG/RR District is limited. Some uses are conditionally permitted. The conditions placed on these uses are to insure their compatibility with the agriculture-related uses. The development of new non-farm residential activities proximate to known mineral resource deposits or extraction operations may be buffered by increased setback distance.
