Ozone, located between downtown Covington and the Bogue Falaya River corridor, is a residential and semi-rural Covington neighborhood with wooded lots and a low-slung, porch-forward streetscape. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Highway 190 and U.S. 190 Business area, where local diners, service shops, and everyday errands set the pace. Architecture leans toward ranch homes, Louisiana cottages, and newer builds tucked behind pines and live oaks. Trailheads and river access points shape a weekend rhythm of paddling, walking, and shaded picnics. A short drive connects to Covington’s art-and-food scene without changing the quiet, green backdrop. The atmosphere reads practical, outdoorsy, and distinctly Northshore.
Single-Family Residential-Existing Small Lots District

From this point forward, no new RSL districts will be created. In general the maximum density in RSL districts shall be in accordance with the predominant density of the existing development in the area.
