OPEN HOUSE CANCELLED - UNDER CONTRACT. A beautiful country home in Boonsboro without breaking the bank! Located on a quiet street, this 3 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow with open living is freshly painted and move-in ready! Pretty hardwood floors throughout living room, hall way, and two bedrooms. Kitchen is updated with granite counters, new appliances, and ceramic flooring. The large mudroom at the back of the home hosts the laundry area and leads to the fenced courtyard, which in turn, has gate to rear yard and separate 2-car "piggy-back" garage (10x30). While majorly renovated in 2010 (including roof!), owners opted for a few more updates, including new appliances in kitchen, a pretty front walkway with retaining wall, new doors, and some behind-the-scene mechanicals (new water heater, pressure tank, and UV light control box). The land has plenty of room for gardens, fruit trees, or other hobbies. Perfectly situated 15 minutes west of Frederick and 15 minutes east of Hagerstown. Great location for always home, but close enough for weekend getaway.

Rural Village District
The Rural Village designation is provided to preserve the unique historic or rural character of existing villages by encouraging compatible development within a defined village boundary. It also identifies clusters of existing development in the rural areas that may be candidates for public facilities in the future. The zone intends for permitted development to be generally of a similar density, scale and use type and mixture as that which exists in the village. The zone is also designed to prevent large amounts or inappropriately scaled development or uses that would detract from the existing rural or historic character of the village. It is expected that development will be residential and a limited amount of mixed rural services. More than one use may be permitted on one parcel in accordance with specific guidelines. Public water and sewer may be available for the purpose of resolving or preventing health issues. Use of public utilities to permit greater density than the density specified in this section is not permitted.
