The home carries a classic feel and has been lovingly maintained with a new furnace and heat pump (2023) and a 10-year-young architectural roof. Upstairs, you’ll find all three bedrooms and two full baths, while the main level offers a cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining area, and a kitchen that opens directly to the screened-in porch overlooking the water. The garage includes the laundry area and an additional full bathroom, making the home both practical and comfortable. But here, it’s all about the setting. From the moment you step onto the screened-in porch spanning the length of the home or sip your morning coffee on the second-level balcony overlooking the water, you’ll know this is a retreat like no other. This property features a rare 280-foot private deep-water pier with a boat slip, two jet ski lifts, electric, and water, along with a boathouse and a waterfront outbuilding complete with a garage door and wood stove. The deep water access is a true asset for avid boaters, allowing you to launch larger vessels with ease and head straight out to open waters. Spend your afternoons crabbing and fishing right off your pier, or simply take in the sights of ospreys diving for their catch, herons wading along the shoreline, bald eagles soaring overhead, and fish leaping from the creek below. An above-ground pool adds another layer of summertime fun. In the evenings, watch the moon rise over the water, bringing a sense of calm and quiet to the creek. Whites Neck Creek offers serene views and direct access for boating adventures. Just a short boat ride away is St. Catherine’s Island & St. Margaret’s Island. This area is known for its peaceful, laid-back charm—a true waterman’s haven where life slows down, neighbors wave as they pass by, and every day feels like vacation. RPD
Rural Preservation District
The regulations of Rural Preservation Districts are intended to foster agricultural, forestry, mineral resource extraction, and aquacultural uses and protect the land base necessary to support these activities. Low density residential development in this type of district is permitted subject to performance standards that maintain the rural character of the district in recognition of the fact that a full range of public facilities is not provided or planned. The farmer has the right to farm without being restricted by neighboring residential areas. Restricted hours of operation for farm equipment, restricted odor-producing fertilizers, or mandatory noise reductions may not be imposed on farmers in an RPD zoning district. The general intent of the district is to encourage farming without undue burden on the landowner. In accordance with these intentions, the following provisions for the protection of agricultural uses will apply: (1) Any farm use of land is permitted. (2) Operation, at any time, of machinery used in farm production or the primary processing of agricultural products is permitted. (3) Normal agricultural activities and operations in accordance with good husbandry practices, which do not cause bodily injury or directly endanger human health, are permitted and preferred activities, including activities that may produce normal agriculture related noise and odors. (4) The sale of farm products produced on the farm where the sales are made is permitted.
