Have you been looking for one level living but can not find a rambler big enough? This is a beautiful home nestled in the trees on a 3+ acre lot. One of the nicest subdivisions in Northern Calvert features all custom homes in a beautifully developed setting with walking trails, community boat ramp and access to the Patuxent River. Here will find an updated kitchen with stainless appliances that is wide open to the family room. A striking vaulted ceiling sun room sits right off the kitchen area. The master suite has hardwood flooring and a huge remodeled master bath with separate shower, jetted tub and double sinks. New carpeting and paint in the other two bedrooms. The lower level has a very large recreation room with fireplace and half bath. There is a section for storage and utilities beside it. In the back yard you will discover a great Out Building that could have so many uses. It is being sold in AS IS condition. Great for additional storage and has electric and drywall with wrap around deck. The house has sought after geo-thermal heating which gives you much lower utility costs. Right over the county line, you are less than half hour away from Joint Base Andrews and less than an hour to DC. Lots of commuter bus lines available within 3 minutes of the house. This has always been one of the premier communities in the county with great pride of ownership and a friendly neighborhood feel. Take a walk to the community area on the Patuxent River for magnificent evening sunsets. A great place to call home!

RCD
Rural Community District
The Rural Community District RCD is intended to maintain a mix of farms, forests, and residential uses, retain historic and scenic areas, and protect watersheds, fish, and wildlife. These goals are to be achieved in part through the mandatory clustering of subdivisions on parcels 30 acres or greater in size, with a minimum of 60 percent of the subdivision to be permanently preserved as open space. It is the intent to maintain a low residential density within this district while still allowing for some use of Transferable Development Rights TDRs. To avoid drawing traffic onto rural roads commercial uses are limited.
