Welcome to the picturesque neighborhood of Woodmark and Benson Branch Park. Lush far-reaching lots and unique architecture set this highly coveted area apart. With room to grow on over two acres this four-bedroom Dutch Colonial is a true estate home flaunting a two-car garage, parking pad and two front entries. Entering through the center hall foyer you will find a formal living room with three-piece crown molding and chair rail meeting its fireplace with hearth and mantle atop hard wood floors. Across the hall is the formal dining room with wood floors and accent molding illuminated by both front and side windows. The kitchen has been updated by adding a tile backsplash while preserving its original dark wood cabinetry around bullnose granite counters. A light tone center island with electric and a Dacor warming drawer were added as well as a built-in credenza and display hutch with accent color inlay. The Jenn-air range is down drafted to the exterior of the home. Doing dishes won’t be a chore under the window overlooking the back yard enjoying the sunlight allotted by the glass porch roof. The thirty-six-foot-long covered screened porch is perfect for entertaining or stargazing in comfort. You will find a second wood burning fireplace and hearth under the full beamed ceiling in the cozy family room with breakfast area off the kitchen. Here you will also find your second front entry. This lovely home would be very suitable for multi-generation living with its main level bedroom and full bath. There is plenty of space in the laundry room on this level to create a fantastic cubby mudroom from the garage. Featuring a Kenmore connect smart laundry set next to a deep stainless-steel sink under yet another window overlooking the back acreage. Upstairs is the primary suite with a walk-in closet most only dream of! Through the frosted glass pocket doors is an en-suite luxury bath with glass shower and separate hydro system heated soaking tub. The second and third upper-level bedrooms share a hall bath with tub shower. The large front bedroom is bumped out with a sitting area and has access to additional storage and a full staircase to the partially floored attic. There is plenty of room to grow into the unfinished basement with replaced transom windows and rear exit. Here you will also find the homes’ main central vacuum system. One year home warranty included. The Rheem HWH and well pump were replaced in 2016. Chimney appointed and new crown added 2014. 1500-gallon Septic tank line and cleanout replaced 2002. The roof was replaced in 2005 with 45-year shingles. Call for your private tour before it’s too late!

RR-DEO
Rural Residential-Density Exchange Option Overlay District
The Rural Residential District is established to allow low density residential development within a rural environment. The Rural Residential District is intended for an area of the County which is already largely committed to low density residential subdivisions. Within the RR District, agriculture is permitted as well as residential development in both cluster and non-cluster forms. Cluster development is permitted in order to protect environmental and landscape resources and to preserve agricultural land.; The DEO Overlay District is established to provide land owners in the RC and RR Districts with opportunity and incentive to preserve significant blocks of farmland in the rural area of the county. This district is also intended to encourage the clustering of residential development in areas where the development will not have an adverse impact on farm operations. To accomplish this, the DEO District allows residential density in the RC and RR Districts to be exchanged between parcels. Density exchanges in the District should result in large parcels being preserved in perpetuity, while residential development is directed toward parcels which are able to absorb the additional dwellings.
