The remodeled kitchen has gorgeous granite counters sourced from a riverbed in South America including the large island perfect for entertainment. The appliances have all been replaced in the last 4 years. New energy efficient windows were been installed 4 years ago throughout the home and roof was replaced 8 years ago. The living room overlooks the beautiful, level and private back yard that also showcases tiered stone-walled flowerbeds with perennial plants. Both the living room and the dining room has fireplaces that add to the ambience especially when using firewood gathered from the 2.54 acre property. Three bedrooms are located on the main level including the primary suite. Downstairs has two additional bedrooms - one very large, and the other with direct access to the back yard. The large full daylight family room with ground level walkout access has a fireplace and lots of room for activities. A bright, spacious laundry room with new LVP flooring also has lots of cabinet space and room for storage. The whole house fan works and is a great alternative to running the AC. An attached 4-car carport with new floor epoxy coating, a large recently paved driveway, and a detached garage with adjoining storage room completes this perfect property. Extensive hard- and landscaping surrounds the home, and fig and apple trees provide fruits in the summer. Well and septic have been regularly serviced and maintained. No HOA, school bus stops right outside the house, DC and Baltimore commuter bus less than 5 miles away, and Metro stop 12 miles away. River Hill HS district. RR-DEO
Rural Residential-Density Exchange Option Overlay District
The Rural Residential District is established to allow low density residential development within a rural environment. The Rural Residential District is intended for an area of the County which is already largely committed to low density residential subdivisions. Within the RR District, agriculture is permitted as well as residential development in both cluster and non-cluster forms. Cluster development is permitted in order to protect environmental and landscape resources and to preserve agricultural land.; The DEO Overlay District is established to provide land owners in the RC and RR Districts with opportunity and incentive to preserve significant blocks of farmland in the rural area of the county. This district is also intended to encourage the clustering of residential development in areas where the development will not have an adverse impact on farm operations. To accomplish this, the DEO District allows residential density in the RC and RR Districts to be exchanged between parcels. Density exchanges in the District should result in large parcels being preserved in perpetuity, while residential development is directed toward parcels which are able to absorb the additional dwellings.
